Good morning,

Thank you to all who came out to the Douglas County Library event at the Highlands Ranch, CO location. Also, thank you to Lisa and her team for hosting and Books Are Awesome in Parker, CO, for selling copies of Climbing Through.

I am quickly learning that my favorite parts of these talks are the audience's questions. At Highlands Ranch library, they ranged from thoughtful questions about writing to fun questions from exuberant budding climbers.

The Estes Valley Library event is a fundraiser for Friends of the Library—tickets are $100 per person.  Author talk, books available for purchase from MacDondlad Book Shop, snacks, mingling, and signings.  Purchase tickets here!

Nine years ago, on April 2nd, I survived a horrible electric accident. I connected myself to the electric chain for approximately 20 seconds. Over the next several years, I climbed through pain and anguish both physically and mentally, and what emerged was a stronger, more determined self.

It took a village—thank you all for being part of my village.
